Abu Obaida, the voice we all came to know as strength, dignity, and unwavering resistance .
La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah. 🤲
Abu Obaida was never just a spokesperson.
He was a voice that carried hope through darkness, a voice that made hearts tremble even when words were not understood. Many of us listened to his speeches with our families mothers, sisters, brothers ; drawn not by language, but by the power, calm, and certainty in his tone. His voice reassured the broken, strengthened the fearful, and reminded the Ummah that dignity still lives.
Every time October 7 is remembered, his voice echoes.
Every time Gaza stood firm, his words stood with it.
Allah says in the Qur’an:
“Do not think of those who are killed in the way of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision.”
— Surah Aal-e-Imran (3:169)
Abu Obaida’s contribution to the struggle for Palestine will never be forgotten. He captured the hearts of millions across the world , people who waited anxiously for his statements, who found strength in his calm resolve, who felt less alone because his voice existed. If only he knew how far his words traveled… how many hearts they healed… how many souls they awakened.
May Allah reward him tenfold for his sincerity, his sacrifice, and his steadfastness.
May Allah grant patience to the Ummah, comfort to the broken hearts, and firmness to those who continue the path.
And let it be remembered , always:
